I would like to get fellow traders opinions on bonuses offered by Binary Options brokers, such as Banc De Binary. Do you think they are worth getting? Are they risky incase you need to withdraw your funds?

there is no good or bad. its a case of how your trading profile could leverage on such a promotion or not. i trade for a living. i can easily chalked up massive amount of traded volume and in this case, any bonus promotion is a welcome for me.

P.S
24Option has not been offering me deposit bonus after i took 2 offers from them early this year. i easily met my required traded volume in 2 days.

If you're worried about getting bonus funds and real money mixed in and not being able to withdraw, just talk to your account manager. They'll sort it out. I trade with BDB and haven't had a problem yet.

I also use Markets World - they keep bonus funds separate from your playing money until you've met the rollover requirement (they're pretty small compared to other sites though, the developers still have some teething issues to sort out but the customer service is pretty responsive).

This is something that I have been thinking about too... is there actually a possibility to reject a bonus offer from brokers such as 24 Option or Banc de Binary and trade only with the funds you deposited? Or are the bonuses obligatory?

I would really appreciate if somebody could shed some light on this. Thanks!

If I did not sternly specified that "I do not want any bonus" every time the bonus of the day was added to my deposit to prevent me from withdrawing before the rollover requirement was slapped on which without a good strategy means that before you rollover you funds 20-30 times it is likely gone. Make sure you specify no bonus and after you deposit IF you see a higher sum in your account don't be happy, be wary! Do not place a single trade and contact the broker and ask for the bonus to be taken off.. you'll be glad you did!

When I trade forex, I usally refuse their bonuses because of too much hassle.. Need to trade certain amount of times etc... I said to myself, after that many trades, If I'm not profitable, then the bonus won't help anyway lol
