Hey everybody,
As many of you already know, especially traders who frequent the chat every day, a month or so I looked out to the world of trading, and I've always been attracted. Although I had some problems during my course of study (still ongoing), I have always exceeded even the biggest obstacles thanks to your help..
Tomorrow, I will start to test my strategy on paper. I will work exclusively with price action and a couple of moving averages, and i'll make 5 trades from 8 am to 11am (ET). My goal is at least 80% percent of success(4 / 5 ITM).
The platform i will use is BancDeBinary, and im gonna post every day a screenshot of my 5 trades.
I'm sure it will be difficult, but I believe that by continuing to study and work hard i'll reach my goals, atleast i hope that!

Let's see how things will go..!

I like this idea of yours. Some of the newbies I seen on chat, between point A-Z, they just wanner get to point Z immediately. I admire ur discipline & patience to wanting to learn & master every single step from point A-Z. I haven't seen any post, that shows a newbies progress. Your journal will give a slice of life, which will help other newbies see how a fellow newbie is progressing, going from knowing nothing to profiting consistently. Am sure they can learn a few things frm u icon wink Forums Have faith in ur self & keep going. Wish u all the best mate.

Ok, i've finished now my trades. My brother left me to trade just a couple of hours ago and I could not find many opportunities instantly. But in the last hour I found several, so I have not stopped once I reached the 5 trades. I've found many difficulties to wait just for reversal of the trend, so i thought to add a CCI indicator to highlight me the trend and try to trade even without perfect pattern.
I was really scared sometimes, especially when i thought i had found the easiest trades..

I am a beginner but i realized one thing: once placed the order, I was ALWAYS biting my nails in front of the chart. Starting tomorrow, i will place the order and search profit opportunities on other assets. By the way, trust me: it's not easy to close the chart's asset where you've placed the order..!

I've tried to trade on a stock too, to test my strat there, but i've lost. I think i will think to STOCKS in future.

This is my portfolio screenshot ( the 193373 trade is not mine, maybe somebody traded with and while my brother was trying to trade: he will sign up soon on BOD anyway!).

7/9 with the stock's trade too, satisfied of today.

EDIT - 22:53 PM : Today I really brought my eyesight to the limit. My head is spinning and I think if if I continue to stay on the charts i'll see double moving averages line.. Bed time, next trade session tomorrow afternoon after school!

Today i didn't started well my trading session. Lost 2 trades in a raw, so i preferred to stop and spend the day studying the platform BancDeBinary(just one hour) and the rest of the time studying candlestick pattern on a book (Candlestick charting for dummies) and on a site http://www.fxwords.com/j/Japanesecandlesticks.html#intro
I also had a look at this site i discovered yesterday http://www.trading-naked.com/Articles_and_Reprints.htm .. There are really good topics and texts, if I have time I will update tomorrow on the most valuable texts from the point of view of a beginner.

Have a nice day.

Keep updating ^^ Don't stop now icon wink Forums It doesn't always have to be about trades. It can also b about what u have learnt uptill now & where u need improvement etc etc. The reason am pushing u is there are other newbies here totally new to the markets. They could possibly get inspiration from u & see how a newbie is progressing to become pro icon wink Forums lol

Plus, journaling really does help accelerate one's personal development, in regards to trading. If you have read Brian's journal, u can see how far he has come in a few short years & learning from his own trades. Keep growing ^^

Okok, i'm back.
Last night, after celebrating my 18 years, i spent a couple of hours on charts, applying my strat to last week trading sessions. I've split my MetaTrader in 4 assets: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/JPY. Today i've done some paper-trading and got good results. Price action and a few indica I would not speak too soon, of course, a month is not enough to consider a strategy of "good", imagine a day..Well, i just say i hope to post an image like this also tomorrow:

Hey Luca icon wink Forums ,

you might want to look back at all your trades and trading dates.
Why are you getting more "not good" days compare to "good results" days.
Actually, its no mystery that you get "easier trades" yesterday or should i say on "days like this".
Look through them, i am sure you'll find it.
It has something to do with what Dave always says ....... "high probability set-up".

What a learning day, yesterday!
I back from school and i realized immediately that if i came back 10 minutes before i would have won a couple of trades.
But never mind, i continued to follow the 4 assets chatting with various traders in the chat. I placed an order on GBP / USD won by luck, and lost one on the same asset.
Overall, i was able to place 3 orders: 2 won and 1 lost. I must admit that yesterday I really lost a lot of possibilities especially in those fragments of the quiet market, anyway I'm happy to have won the last trade AUD / USD (put at 1.04588 13:35), entering the trade the most appropriate time, according to my strategy.

I learned a lot, yesterday:

- I have to adapt my strategy to various types of market: I can not use the same entry point for all types of market

- NEVER trade against the trend

- Limit the trade for a couple of assets: USD / JPY and AUD / USD, and study their behavior and how they react to the news / data release.
